Learn More About Me:

Tiffany has been working in the mental health field since 2003.  Tiffany received her master’s in counseling from Edinboro University in 2006 and has been working in outpatient mental health since 2007.  Tiffany has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in both individual and group formats. Tiffany uses a person-centered approach to her therapy and focuses on the mind body connection.  Tiffany also has an interest in how nutrition and daily movement affects mental health.

Tiffany has a background in art, majoring in art for 2 years prior to switching to an undergraduate in psychology, followed by her master’s in counseling. Tiffany also implements art and creative strategies in her therapy as well for an eclectic approach to her sessions.  Tiffany also has extensive skills in the utilization of DBT and has many years of experience running DBT groups for both adolescents and adults. Tiffany has participated in a DBT consultation group as well with collegues. In addition, Tiffany has experience working with trauma and complex trauma, and also utilizes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

Tiffany has created and conducted therapy groups for the following:

  • Helping young children with divorce and loss in their families

  • Forming healthy habits to improve overall mental health (focused on eating, exercise, stress management, optimism, self-esteem and spiritual connections)

  • Adapting DBT concepts into a creative/mindfulness approach (each DBT skill was taught with a creative strategy compared to just a classroom lecture; they were hands on in learning the skills)

  • Anger management

  • Organization and study help for teens

  • Teen girls’ group (self-esteem, safe dating, stress management, conflict resolution, family relationships)

In her free time, Tiffany is an avid reader, practices daily meditation and exercise, and enjoys spending time with her family and cat.
